Important Life Lessons

We just returned from a family trip to Mexico with ALL of the kids. I learned some very interesting things while there...

1. It really does not matter where I am, Mexico or at home, I love having my kids with me the same.

2. You pay a price when you remember to put sunscreen on everyone EXCEPT yourself.

3. I am grateful to live somewhere that does not require armed security posts. Thank you to those who make this possible.

4. My children and spouses are so much braver than I am when it comes to eating different foods.

5. Joy comes from watching your children really enjoying being together.

6. My husband really does love me, even after all these years.

7. There is no place like home.

8. It does feel wonderful to be warm in March ;)

9. Stealing from my aunt Tina, There is nothing as valuable as a mother's hug.

10. Families really need to be together forever!

Much love to you all.

Wow, it sounds like you had a great time. I think it's a good time of year to go because you come back and it isn't still winter and spring is just beginning. I bet it was really fun to go with all your kids.

I have to tell you that Jacoby loves those Crocs you gave him back when he was a baby. They're just starting to fit him and he brings them to me all the time and wants me to put them on him. I think he's realized how much more comfortable they are than regular shoes. He looks pretty cute when he wears them with his blue scrubs Debie made him. I'll have to send you a picture.
